Wells Fargo customers now get get 100 commission-free online trades a year by using Wells Fargo's WellTrade account. This is not a one-time promotion, according to Wells Fargo -- this is the ongoing commission rate for all Wells Fargo and WellTrade customers. You can use your commission-free trades for stocks, exchange-traded funds, and even no-load mutual funds. To get the free trades, you have to link your WellsTrade account to a Wells Fargo PMA Package (which you can qualify for with $25,000 in brokerage, loan balances or deposits).
